Bari, January 24th 2021 - Cross Water project arrives in schools. Training days in four primary schools to sensitize children to the conscious use of the water resource, through in-depth studies, experiments and concrete examples on how to combat waste.
The thematic and cross-border project, of which Puglia Region (Water Resources Section) as lead partner and which also includes Apulian Aqueduct, Molise Region, Municipality of Tirana, Tirana Water and Wastewater Utility (UKT) and Montenegrin Regional Aqueduct (PE RWMC), then comes to one of the activities aimed at the younger target. Almost 700 children will be involved, in presence and at a distance, in compliance with the Covid 19 anti-contagion provisions. Objective: to contribute to the formation of a correct mentality in terms of use and saving of water resources. In fact, today's students are the future citizens of tomorrow. Investing in their training is equivalent to investing in the future of the entire community. The topics dealt with in class, in fact, are then exposed to families, spreading and multiplying virtuous behavior.
The meetings will be animated by a team of trainers and communicators, coordinated by a physicist expert in didactics who will explain, also through the use of educational kits composed of cards and stickers of which the mascot Goccina is the protagonist, with a simple language, captivating graphics and concrete examples, how important is water for the life of all living beings and how to reuse it in everyday life. Also important for the success of the training days is the preparation work carried out on the subject in recent weeks by the team of teachers in the classroom. In addition, the audiovisual materials produced as part of the project in recent months will be screened: the TV commercial and the corporate video.
